         <description><![CDATA[<div>Grace Loves Lace is an Australian bridal brand that represents the modern bride. Their dresses perfectly capture a carefree sort of style with their boho, minimalistic designs. They use a variety of fabrics ranging from lace to silk, giving brides a wide range of options to choose from when looking for their dream dress. The majority of their dresses also come with the option to add sleeves, which also come in a variety of styles, or add a different colour cover up slip underneath sheer lace dresses. I chose this brand as I have personally followed their journey for the past few years and love each new design they release, as they don't just stock the typical strapless ballgown that you see in most bridal stores.&nbsp;Their dresses are also quite affordable, in my opinion, and would fit the budget that a lot of brides have. </div>]]></description>

I have followed them personally for over a year on social media, and they are constantly interacting with followers through their stories with polls and questionnaires, which I feel is crucial in order to maintain a relationship with followers and attract more consumers. They also use polls to promote their customisable options, which is a smart way of marketing their gowns and how they can be made unique to each bride. The brand utilises social media to the fullest in terms of marketing, getting a lot of traffic through sites such as Instagram or even Pinterest, where they have one of the most pinned wedding dresses. I feel that online marketing is a particularly strong skill for Grace Loves Lace, as shown through their social media, which is essential as a brand in the modern market.</div>]]></description>

Justin Warshaw, CEO of a wedding manufacturing house, had reported that wedding dress booking have increased by 593% between April 1st 2021 and May 15th 2021, in comparison to the same period of time in 2020. This surge in weddings is expected to last into 2023, with an estimated 2.2million weddings set to take place. Millennials are getting married older than previous generations due to being born into a poor job market, and having lived through multiple economic crisis'.&nbsp;<br>Millennials are changing the concept of weddings, with Instagram having influenced the way we think of weddings. With lavish weddings being displayed across our screens, many people think they need to go all out to celebrate, however millennials are being much more cost orientated and are looking to keep prices low. Minimalism has become a huge trend for weddings, with smaller wedding parties, less extravagant dresses, simple wedding cakes and no sit down meals.</div>]]></description>

It is quite a simple screen to open up to, there isn't much to love or hate about it, however I do feel that the placement of the logo makes it look like not much thought has gone into the design, so this is something I would like to experiment with changing when I create my email design.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This was the first reply I received from a bridal showroom as part of my primary research. The reply about sample sizes is quite useful to me as it gives me an idea as to hat sizes to stock up to in order to be as inclusive as possible for brides. I found it really interesting that each bride is able to have the boutique to herself while at her appointment as this isn't something I have typically seen before from other showrooms or in TV shows, such as Say Yes To The Dress, so this is definitely something I can consider when creating floorplans as I may only have one viewing area now in order to keep appointments individual. The last reply about the changing of bridal traditions has majorly helped me, as it confirms that the direction I am taking the showroom pop-up in, aligns with current bridal/wedding traditions, as weddings are now seen as less of a tradition and more of a celebration.</div>]]></description>

I found it most interesting that the owner had mentioned the relation of social media to the change in bridal/wedding traditions. Morgan Davies also do their bridal appointments differently to Dolly's Bridal, as the bride has their own personal consultant as opposed to having the showroom to themselves. I have noticed that appointments tend to last between 1.5 hours - 2 hours also, which gives the bride adequate time to explore dress styles and options. It was particularly useful that the owner stated a size UK12 - UK14 is the most common size for samples, however they do stock from a size UK10 - UK18. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I decided to ask very simple questions throughout the interview in order to get the most straightforward answers I could. I also kept the interview short as I had very specific questions to ask. I wanted to get to know more about a modern bride-to-be's bridal style so I asked about her dress style preference and how she will be accessorising, while the style of dresses and veils is definitely modernised, this interview has shown there is still hints of tradition through the use of lace fabrics and long veils. When picking the dresses the showroom will be stocking, I will definitely be considering these answers in order to showcase the widest variety of dresses.&nbsp;<br>To get to know more about wedding day traditions, I also asked about her ideal venue and how many dresses she will be wearing. Her answer about the venue fits with modern weddings as she is choosing to get married abroad, which wasn't a popular tradition for past weddings. In contrast to modern weddings however, the bride will only be wearing one dress throughout the day.&nbsp;<br>I found this interview useful when looking back at the dresses and accessories I chose to stock, and it made me feel very confident in my choices that the showroom will be able to cater to all brides. With location weddings becoming more popular also, it confirms to me that the showroom will be able to gain clients and drive sales for the company.</div>]]></description>
