I loved being able to watch blocking always with the directors and taking down their notes because it kept me involved and I was always aware about our show. I worked side by side with Angela and Jade to record their directing decisions about blocking and acting notes. I also kept details of our schedule for what we needed to get done and reminded cast members about rehearsals and dates we needed them to have production work completed (for example, bringing in props, etc…). I called cues and actors’ entrances during rehearsals and called actors to come to the stage when it was their time to run the scenes for their blocking. I made sure all props were available for the actors to use and I notified our cast about any changes we’d make along the way. In addition, I was responsible for recording the blocking for light, sound, and set change cues so that our cast members had a detailed script to follow and understand.
