I chose the Rococo art movement because I really love how the art is fluid and whimsical through the portrait itself and how it pulls you into the scene. The main qualities of this movement are aristocracy and this style is known for focusing on sensual delight of color and light. This style of art originated in France in early 1700s. I chose François Boucher, Jean Honore Fragonard, Hans Holbein the Younger, these artists to feature in my mood board because all of these painting seems more alive through the scene and capture the beauty of people through the vivid color.

I chose the realism art movement because its my favorite movement that I aim to apply to in many of my art works in my CTE class. Not only that but this movement is very appealing in my eyes. I chose surrealism because since the 10th grade project we did about nocturnal surrealism, I've always been fascinated by how weird and creative the artwork looks like. It contains realistic and surreal elements that make up the whole artwork. The artworks of surrealism have a eerie feeling that just make the artwork come to life. Besides Salvador Dali I was able research other artist like Rene Margritte, Yves Tanguy and Fransic Criss.

I chose the renaissance art movement because i enjoy the works of art from that era. A big characteristic is PAINTING : the progressive conquest of how to portray perspective. Soon, the painters realized that all the lines of a building come together in some point far away. However, they also learned that one needs to take into consideration where the spectator is. Look at this fresco by Masaccio: clearly it is meant to be watched from the level of the first raw of the characters. The two saints near the cross are already seen from below, as is the ceiling above God; it is way above the person who watched the scene. I chose these pieces of art and artist because they inspire me and my work.

I chose this art movement because a recurring theme that is present in these images is the great depression, I love the style of these art pieces as well, including the color swatches within them. The way these drawings are made can convey a devastating mood, it doesn't use much color.

I chose the Rococo art movement because I have been very fond of this style for a long time. I first saw this style incorporated in the Marie Antoinette 2006 film. From that point, I have loved the usage of pastels in its artworks, the elegance of architectural designs, and the overall delicacy. The artists I chose to feature in my moodboard are: Jean-Antoine Watteau, Jean-Honore Fragonard, Jules-Edmond Charles Lachaise, Joseph Duplessis, and Franz Xaver Winterhalter. I chose these talented artists because through their works, they share the common style of Rococo. They capture humanity in its natural beauty, which is what’s so fascinating to be able to witness and feel even centuries after.
