European Explorers and slave traders would go to Europe where they would either capture natives or buy slaves from the Africans who lived there. They would then be shipped to America in harsh conditions. For example they would live in their own waste, eat and drink barely anything and be chained up to the ship itself. Then the America's would send goods to Europe who would then repeat the process. Benefiting everyone except the slaves ad Native African people.

The movement was big in the 1820's but truly started in the 1830's when a man named Garrison created A.A.S.S. also known as the American Anti-Slavery Association.A Big hit to the slavery institution was the ending of the Atlantic Slave trade in 1807. Which ended due to slavery being illegal in many parts of Europe, but still continued illegally for the next 60 years. Which led to a gap between The north and south in the United States causing it to lead to a civil war.
