In desperation, Germany started printing a huge amount of money to pay off the reparation but this only led to the money being worthless and it only led to something worse.

In 1923 the Wiemar republic was on the brink of collapsing Gustav Stresemann and Charles Dawes helped Germany and Wiemar get back on her feet. Gustav convinced French and Belgian troops to leave the Ruhr and he allowed Germany to enter the league of nations. The Rentemark was also introduced and it sustained Germany for a short time (1 Rentemark = 1 Trillion old marks). Gustav also made Germany enter the league of nations in 1926. Charles Dawes was the US budget director in 1923 and he helped to sort out Germany's economy. He arranged the Dawes plan with Gustav which made it so Germany didn't have to pay reparations anymore and he agreed to America lending Germany 800 million gold marks which kick started the German economy.

Originally men were conscripted into the army and were trained on a rigorous 13 week course to train them for Vietnam. 

When men got to Vietnam it was a mystery for them as they did not know their environment whereas the Vietcong have fought here for a long time against the French and the Japanese. 

The media played a massive role in Vietnam because it's one of the first televised wars for the USA and this is what contributed to the Americans pulling out of Vietnam. The pressure of the media first arose when they showed the napalming of villages and how they mutilated and killed children and their families. 

Another reason why they lost the war was because of the paranoia which infested the soldier's minds. This was because Vietcong used guerrilla tactics against the Americans.  This included pitfall traps and using the element of stealth in the dense jungle to counter attack their enemies.

The men were not very motivated and did not want to fight whereas the Vietcong were fighting for the freedom of their country, the term "Fragging" came around in Vietnam when soldiers would blow up their commanders with grenades so they would not have to fight anymore

The way you defeat them is by using your environment and what you have to defeat the enemy. Che Guevara took inspiration from red Chinese tactics. The meaning of guerrilla tactics is to harass your enemy even though you are a small force

Guerrilla comes from the Spanish meaning of "Little war".
