As a faculty member at Harvard University for more than four decades, Dr. Jorge Dominguez taught and published extensively in his field. He also held a faculty associate position with Leverett House from 1974 to 2018. Having served for 20 years as professor in the Department of Government, Dr. Jorge Dominguez was named the Frank G. Thomson Professor in the same department for the years 1993 to 1996. He also served as a Clarence Dillon professor and received a Harvard College Professor teaching award. His most recent position was that of Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico. Dr. Dominguez has mentored graduate students, playing the role of chair and advising them on more than 100 dissertations.
