In this unit we explored two artists - Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee. Inspired by them we made trees and abstract geometric landscapes. What I liked the most was that MYP1 6Kabini decided to bring alive 'Sun & Castel' by painting carboard boxes and plastic containers. They also did presentations of their research findings through canva and wrote summative describing light, shadow and colours in paintings.

i really enjoyed this unit as I learnt a lot of wonderful and new things such as many facts about the color wheel. I had so much fun makimg all the paintings like the mondrian one and such unique drawings of paul klee. I had some difficulties making the paul klee but I took help from my peers and from Antara mam and faced those obstacles. I had an amazing experience colouring,painting and drawing. I know Antara mam and us will continue this awesome journey and have a lot more interesting stuff in the future......

During this unit I learnt all about colour theory and two artists Paul Klee and Piet Mondrian and we also made 2 drawings inspired by each of the artists. my favourite part of the unit was the 3 D Paul Klee that we painted in class I hope the next unit will be as good as this one !!

In this unit we explored how artists such as Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee worked. We took inspiration from them and made our own art works. We made trees inspired from Piet Mondrian’s tree painting and we made geometrical homes and castles inspired from Paul Klee’s castle and the sun painting. Around the end of the unit we took inspiration from Paul Klee’s castle and the sun, and started painting boxes to make a city. In one of our formative assessment’s we made presentations on colour theory and presented them in class. Overall I really liked this unit and it gave me depth on how to improve my art.

in unit 1 i learned about two artistists i learned how to do abstract in itself and in landscape i learned how to use colours that compliment each other and I really enjoyed the 3d work we did in class

i loved this unit as the drawings we made were beautiful by placing random shapes. i also loved the way of teaching by MAAM she also was doing a flip class like a formative asesment i loved the educational videos too as well as her wonderful presentations.

In this unit we covered 3 artists Paul Klee, Piet Mondrian and S.H.Raza I really enjoyed making artwork inspired by them and adding my own style to it. The artwork we made was bindu art, abstract trees and geometrical landscapes. What I liked most was drawing the trees as they are flown and you can use a lot of creativity. We did a couple FA’s regarding our unit but we didn’t do any drawing or artwork FA. I learned a lot about colour theory and I think we could have learned more from the teacher rather than doing research ourselves as we may not understand the concept properly like I couldn’t understand hue, tone, shade, etc.

In this unit we learnt about 3main topics,Piet Mondrian,Paul Klee and colour theory.the topic that I liked the most was Paul klee because I love geometry and we also got to make a fun project.We also had a lot of fun making the scream and we changed the emotion of the painting.I really loved this va unit and I hope the next one will be much better.

In unit 1 we made some fantastic drawings we also learned about Paul Klee , Mondrian and my favourite part was learning about the colour wheel about the primary colours , secondary colours and tertiary colours . I hope in the future we will make more amazing drawings and will learn about more amazing artists

I throughly enjoyed this unit as I have learnt not only how to make amazing artworks inspired by Paul Klee, Raza , and Mondrian, but also to be able to express my emotions through my artwork. During VA classes I was not only inspired by all the different artists and my mentor, but also by the fantastic work of my batchmates. I loved how we learnt to enhance the depth and beauty of our artworks using complimentary colours , and light and shadow . I feel that I have advanced immensely in my art skills and social skills, and none of this would have been possible without the guidance of my mentor , Antara Ma'am !
