Today was our first day of our vacation trip.
At 17:10 the plane took off from Adolfo-Suarez airport to Glasgow, it was a very comfortable trip after a stopover in Amsterdam we arrived in Glasgow where we landed at 21:45

From the airport we took a taxi (24.5 pounds) to the hotel called The Z Hotel Glasgow (438 pounds for the 7 nights a double room) located in the center of Glasgow.

The price of the hotel includes breakfast with free buffet.
After taking the taxi to the hotel we arrived at our room at 00:12 where we rested for a while thanks to all the hotel amenities. At 00:30 we went to find a place to dine, but we only found a fast food restaurant close to the hotel (18.54 pounds for both)
Then  we returned to the hotel to sleep.

We got up at 8:30 and we went down to breakfast at the hotel, later at 10:00 we left to visit the Glasgow science center (11.50 pounds each) in the museum we have seen things about the astronauts, the aliens. .. and we have gone down one of the tallest towers in the city with 127 meters.

At 12:30 we went to the museum (The tall ship) (2 pounds per person) which we have taken about eight minutes walking from the Glasgow science center. In this museum we have learned information about Glasgow's maritime trade and ships of different times.
At 13:30 we have eaten at a famous restaurant located in the center (52 pounds for both)
At 16:37 we took the train (2.5 pounds) to go to the Gleniffer Braes Country Park, a famous park located 20 km from Glasgow. In it we have spent all afternoon making beautiful photographs although with a lot of wind, we have also seen their natural lakes and their incredible waterfalls.











We have returned to the hotel by train for the same price and have dined at the hotel restaurant (32pounds)

At 9:00 we had breakfast at the hotel and later at 9:45 we went to the "People's Palace" by bus (2.5 pounds). In it we saw its incredible winter gardens, photographs, movies etc and later we had a delicious tea in the east cafeteria (2.3 pounds each tea) the best part is that it's free!
At 13:00 we left the "People's Palace" and looked for a nearby restaurant to eat. Fortunately two minutes away was the West a prestigious restaurant in Glasgow in which we ate fish soup with a second course (19 pounds for each)
We returned to the hotel to rest a little and later at 4.30pm we took a taxi (2.5lbs) to visit the cathedral of Glasgow also known as the Cathedral of St. Mungo. They explained that in its beginnings it was a university until it was reformed. in 1460. But what I call my attention the most is its incredible green roof and that your visit is free!









When leaving the cathedral we went to the "Empire coffee" (1.6 pounds each coffee)
Later we decided to walk to the most famous shopping center in Glasgow on Princes Square but we had to leave early because it closed at 7 and we did not have time to buy anything.
We decided to find a place to have dinner since it was 7:30. We found a restaurant with traditional Scottish food, the Fanny Trollope's, but we had to book and wait half an hour.
We got in and what we basically ate was fish which is the main course of Scottish cuisine (44 pounds for both)

Where during all the morning we were seeing their rivers, points, natural lakes, forests, animals ...
Until 1 and a half we went to eat at a restaurant located in front of one of the lakes (19 pounds for both).
In the afternoon we decided to do a free bike tour in the park and later we signed up for a game that had to be mounted in tanks and try to win.









At 20:00 we took the car to return to the hotel to shower and find a place to diner in Glasgow.
Finally we went to dinner at Bilson Eleven since it was a bit far from the hotel and we took advantage of the car we had to deliver on 14. The dinner was quite expensive since it is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the city (49 pounds each) and we decided to choose the tasting menu with delicious dishes and desserts. The tour was about 1 hour and stayed here 2 hours because there were many people in the store. Jorge and I went to buy the tickets for the match because at 14:30 Scottish time played the Celtic and we went to see the football stadium.
