As a swimmer, something that I've learned that has extended to my everyday life is just to focus on my own journey and my own results. It's really easy to lose focus and motivation by comparing myself to others, but over the years, I've become more comfortable and accepting of who I am on good and bad days because the only standard I hold myself to is my own.
