         <description><![CDATA[<div>-student resistance to fully online<br>-figure out hybrid<br>-makeover of online (teaching for a long time)<br>-76 online students; more personal experience with instructor and each other<br>-reinvigorate the course - been teaching it online for 15 years<br>-comprehensive textbook with links that don't work; alot in the text; bring additional resources in<br>-first time online<br>-online, quality control, security (privacy of student work)<br>-looking to do an online - low residency program<br>-Blackboard questions<br>-teaching online for 2 years; more courses online; theory and skill - find alternatives to discussion boards<br>-learn New technology; some students are very motivated; others who sit back (and say they are teaching themselves - take responsibility for learning)<br>-new technology to engage students<br>-rework discussion boards&nbsp;<br>-29 students - became overwhelming; group activities; student resistance to online; 8 student online limitation (more students online)<br>-less reliance on discussion<br>-Hybrid -- A lot of information for students; engaged but not overwhelmed; 24 students in the course&nbsp;<br>-More productive discussion; losing students who have technical issues; rubric development; improve technology<br>-how to use wikis effectively<br>-group work best practices<br>-productive use of vidyo such as student's presentation, what format<br>-interactive ways to present content and easy to open on on bb&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
