There were piles of clothes, we had to categorize them and put them in packages. The clothes were going to be donated to the people who live in small villages all over Turkey. First, we had to make sure that the clothes are appropriate and ready for the delivery. However, if the clothing had some kind of stain on it or if it was dirty we had to put it in a separate place. After we decided on the clothes, we started our work. While one of us was ironing the other folded the clothes. The folded clothes were put in plastic bags. We also had to make a label to show the type and the size of the clothing. And for that, we used a computer and a printer. It was a very fun experience and I’m very proud about myself that I worked for an organization that has such a good cause.

It is a coffee house where the homeless or poor people can provide their needs. It is located next to Balat.  
We cooked 5 various meal by collaboration. Of course  there were another volunteers as well. We washed the dishes and Zeynep donated clothes.
 We stayed there approximately 6 hours.
It was really wonderful,  i really enjoyed being here and knowing that i helped homeless people made me so content. I felt really useful and happy.

We also helped them with their homework. When we were leaving they came to us and they hugged us. I loved spending time with them and seeing them happy. I definetely want to visit them again.

We stayed there for 6 hours, we helped them to prepare food and organize the clothes. We cooked 5 sorts of foods and we also washed the dishes (that was the most tiring one for me).  After that we folded and organized the clothes.  We returned to the cafe and started to talk to the owner of the society. It was my first time that i took a responsibility like that. My time was well-spend and I had a lot of fun doing it. I learned that helping to the people is so much important and meaningful than money.

I went to the shelter and I feed, played with the cats.I realy had fun .Because I  love cats and I found them so cute.I felt so confident when they were around me.

They were so cute. When I went there it was raining and lots of the dogs were inside of their cottage but it was fun anyway. I bought some dog food for them and gave it to the security man. We want to make people realise the importance. We also realised that we weren’t aware of the importance either. We think we gained an awareness about this topic.

There were piles of clothes, we had to categorize them and put them in packages. The clothes were going to be donated to the people who live in small villages all over Turkey. After we made sure that the clothes are appropriate and ready for the delivery, we ironed and folded them. And then we had to put clothes in plastic bags and put labels on them. We played for around 2 hours and made 80 liras and donated all to those high school seniors. I learned that I can make money and donate it for good while having fun.

I also talked with the people whose pets were sick. It was mentally a bit hard because there were a lot of animals with problems but when I went there again the next day, seeing that four puppies who were sick the other day were starting to recover made me feel nice. I stayed there about 4 hours and I'm planning to go to an animal shelter next month.
