My name is Ana, and I am a teacher at CEIP Virgen del Mar. I am currently teaching a 5-year-old class in Early Childhood Education. My students are curious boys and girls who are always eager to learn, explore, and discover new things every day.

Our school is located in La Rábita, a small coastal village in Granada that belongs to the municipality of Albuñol, in the south of Spain. Even though it is a small place, our classroom is full of creativity, imagination, and enthusiasm.

Today, we would like to talk about art around the world. In our class, art is a wonderful way to express feelings, develop creativity, and learn about different cultures. Through painting, music, dance, and crafts, my students travel across the world without leaving the classroom.

We explore famous artists, traditional art from different countries, and many creative techniques adapted to their age. Most importantly, we learn that art is a universal language that connects people, cultures, and emotions.

Hello! My name is Marta, and I’m a preschool and elementary school teacher at CEIP Sierra Nevada in Granada, in southern Spain. I currently teach second-grade students. Our school is very large: we have almost 700 students and 47 teachers.

We’ve been doing eTwinning projects since 2020, and we love it! Our project, “Art Around the World,” is very important because art plays a fundamental role in our classrooms for the holistic development of our students. Through art, we work on expressing and understanding feelings, and we discover artistic techniques by learning through practice.
