I really like this book because it kept me into it and I stayed interested in it. It's is about this girl named Quinnen, but they call her QB. She had a sister named Haley but she past away the summer before. Nothing is the same without Haley. This summer they tried to Make QB feel a little better my getting to host a baseball player that lived in a different state to play with a local team. So they did and they got Brandon, at first QB didn't like him because it was kind of awkward living with a boy. Then QB got used to it and they were like brother and sisters, but still nothing can be compared to Haley. QB has a boy best friend and they do everything together which includes going to every single on of the Bandits baseball game. Barndon is the second pitcher on that team, there is a really good pitchers that mainly pitches. I like this book because it has a lot of action in it. This book is about a boy named Paul. This is when WW2 was occurring. This boy finds out that his mom is part of a squad who fights the Nazi and he becomes one of them. There mission is to explode special weapons of the Nazis. They head out and thy run into a guard, they take care of him and put explosives in the rocket. It blows up and Paul is knocked out for about 20 minutes. He wakes up to the sounds of gunshots. He looks over some rubble and sees that the battle has started. They win the battle and the war and the story ends.

I gave this book a 4/5 star rating because it was a really good book but at some parts I think it would have been challenging to read by myself if it wasn't a read aloud book. It was about a girl named Katness and a boy named Peta. Peta was chosen to go into the hunger games but Katness took the spot of her little sister prim. They both lasted a long time in the arena until someone came over the speaker and said that if both players from the same district were still playing then they could team up and that is what they did. In the end they had to face mutts they were supposed to resemble the other tributes that have passed. When they won they were taken back home and that was where the book ended.

   4 star rating, because it took a while to get to a big event in the book. This was for reading without walls challenge, and i have to say i loved this book and i would defiantly read another book by this author.
 Capricorn ( cap ) Anderson ( the main character) has never eaten any pizza or has never seen T.V. and never heard of a wedgie. Since he was at a young age he only had a life experience on a farm and was home schooled by his hippie grandmother ( Rain.)
 But, when rain falls out of the tree from picking plums out of her trees and its so bad that she has to stay in the hospital. Cap is forced to stay at a counselors office, and one of the girls were there and she is snobby and cranky teen that is attending to middle school. But , if i say any more i will spoil the book for you.
