By mandatory military training, every Malaysian male will learned basic self-defence. As clear as a day, military training will strengthen our military defence. In this millennium era a nation attack could be happening anytime. There is a saying that sounds “dig the well before you are thirsty”. With more trained soldier, our country is in a better hands. When an invasion occur, most people will know what the drills is rather than being panic. This is because of their disciplines and experience in training will helped in this essential moment. Most Malaysian having basic self-defence and army training also will gives war advantages. This will lead to battle victories and giving us more chance to protect our harmony. We have gained 60 years of independence and it’s our job to gained 60 years more independency. Having basic self-defence knowledge also will benefit them individually. With the crime rates going up drastically, it is essential to know how to protect yourself. 

Speaking of crime, Military service also will reduce the crime rates. According to statistic discipline and respect instilled by United Arab Emirates’ National Service has led to a 75 per cent fall in crimes committed by young Emiratis in the past three years. This is because the military training has shaped their personality to have more respect to the country and law. Military experience is also could be a turning point in a person's life and, consequently, is associated with important life outcomes. National Center for Biotechnology Information has made a research on how military training effect an individual personality. Using a large longitudinal sample of German males, the result shows that people that go to military service has higher openness to experience. This shows that by mandatory the military training it will effect on Malaysian personality to be a better person.

  The reason why credit cards bring a lot of hardships to users is because of the users themselves that do not have the discipline when spending. To illustrate, most credit card users will spend their money just to satisfy their lust for shopping despite the item is expensive or not. According to a general survey by The Malaysian Reserve (TMR), personal loan debts have also risen from RM36.8 billion at the start of 2015, to RM40.9 billion for the months through May 2017. Besides expensive items, the surge in online transactions are pushing the use of credit cards. Furthermore, credit card users spend beyond their financial plan or financial capacity. This is because of the thought that they will have the money to pay their debts back. In reality, their debts will mount up causing many problems and stress. For example.

   Besides, banks offer high charges to users when they make the payment late according to the days. If you don't make the payment or missed they payment for over 30 days you are usually charged late fees and your interest are raised. So make sure to keep track at our spending and always pay our bill one time. As for example if you pay the bill at day 33 so your interest will increase at 45% because interest for one day late is 15% and you have to pay exactly more than you make the loan.

Last but not least, credit cards bring a lot of hardship to their users because credit cards will become a financial burden. To elaborate the financial burden will be felt by the user when debts are accumulated. The average American has a credit card balance of $6,375,up nearly 3 percent from last year, according to Experian's annual study in the state of credit and debt in America. Total credit debts has reached it's highest point ever, surpassing $1 Trillion in 2017. Next, according to a separate report by The Federal Reserve. Debts also can lead to stress, depression, other health issues, and some in serious cases, even suicide. When people cannot pay the bank loans they will seek Money by loan shark to pay the bank loans and the debt will increase. At last, they will stress and feeling depress or even commit suicide. According the current news, reported by The Guardian , A 21-year-old man is believed to have committed suicide after building up debts of $17,311.5 on credit cards and a personal loan. Then the debts can affect the future plan. The possibility to use your own saving to pay the debts is High and all the plan you make that use money will be affected by it.

  As for conclusion credit cards bring a lot of hardships to users because users will spend over their limit because they spend without unaware of their spending. They carelessly swiping their card without barely concern about the cost. 

 

 

 

Nowadays, credit card can be used online easily via online banking, it cause the users tend to be lacking of self-discipline. They will have no discipline in using the credit card wisely. They always to overspend for something more than necessary use for their life. The former Deputy Finance Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Othman Aziz, said “One of the major causes of bankruptcy among younger generation due to credit card debt was the use of credit cards in excess of their capabilities. Its happen due to low condition that requirement income form only RM18,000 per year and loose of credit card withdrawal,” when asked by Datuk Sapawi Ahmad Wasali. The young generation was tempted by their friends which always show off their wealth and life which can become a solid reason for a credit cardholder to use their credit card to get anything without aware of the future consequences.   For example,





 

The bank charged to the credit cardholder and keep increasing it per annual. In Malaysia, according to bbazaar.my, the lowest interest rate is charged by Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) which is 8.88% per annum and the requirement needed is strict such as you must be a Malaysian, minimum income RM24,000 per annum and work as teachers and employees under Ministry of Education, Malaysia. The late payment from the credit cardholder also make them to have a huge amount of debt to the bank until they reach a stage where it is definitely impossible for them to pay which will cause the cardholder bankrupt. For example.

 





One of the reason i agree to the statement is because using credit card can lead to financial burden to the user. In beginning, we might do not face the problem but from time to time it if we keep using it and we keep delaying to pay it back it could cause accumulate debts to us. Former Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Othman Aziz said that in December 2017 in about 1598 or 0.04% users were declared bankrupt due to credit card usage in Malaysia. It may seem small percent but being bankrupt is still a big problem. Bankrupt is not something that you can take easy of it. It affect our future planning and even our life.

                First of all, one of the biggest mistake of the credit card user often makes are they doesn’t have discipline in using the credit card. It may cause overspending, spend beyond plan or beyond their financial capacity. For example, buying something that out of your league like buying a personal cruise ship that cost around RM6.24 billion but your salary just below RM41000. So if a credit card is not used wisely people can get into debt or even bankruptcy. Example? According to the Insolvency Department, young people between the ages of 26 to 44 constituted almost 60% of the 94,408 cases on bankruptcy reported from 2013 to August 2017.

                Other than that, credit card user may face the problem of high charges. This is because of late in paying what we owe the bank and they will charge us money every day until we done the payment. This is called late payment charges. There’s also annual fee, government tax and etc. that we need to take concern about. For example, the longer you wait, the more money you will lose with interest which accrues every day until you pay the balance.

               Lastly, credit card user will be bound with the financial burden when there’s too many things that they buy using credit cards. Accumulated debts was not the easiest things to handle. Once we can’t pay the money back, our name will got blacklisted by the bank and we can’t borrow money from the bank. This is because the bank doesn’t trust us anymore. This also affects our future planning. This is no laughing matter. Once we get in this mess, prepare yourself to clear the blacklist status. For example, if our name got blacklisted, we can’t use our credit card or making loans because bank doesn’t wants to give money to someone that can’t even pay the money back.

                In conclusion, I would like to stress again that I agree credit cards bring a lot of hardship to their users. Think carefully before applying for a credit card. If you can’t discipline yourself to handle it. Then don’t bother to use the credit card to buy things that you desire and use it for emergency cases only.

  The figure 1 and figure 2 show the annual sales of Southern Book Store from 2005 to 2007 and the sales of reading materials in 2007.
 ‌According to the line graph, in 2005, annual sales of Southern Book Store levelled out at 2000 copies. In 2006, the sales started in 4000 copies and reach its highest in April with 5500 copies sold. However, the sales hit its lowest in the end  of the year with 3000 copies sold and decrease at the lowest in march with 2000 copies although it rose rapidly to the highest sales ever in August with 8000 copies sold and remained unchanged through the end of the year. Based on the bar graph, the first quarter of 2007 started slow with the lowest sales of all reading materials and the magazine sales of the quarter is the worst sales of the year. In the second quarter, the best seller materials skyrocketed from 2000 copies to 7000 copies although textbook remained stable while workbook and magazine decrease. The best seller reach its highest in 3rd quarter with 14000 copies plus all of other 3 reading materials increase too. In the 4th quarter , the textbook increasing to its highest with 7000 copies sold but the other reading materials remained unchanged.

  In conclusion, the perfect time to sell all of the reading materials book are in the fourth quarter of the 2007 because all of the materials reach it peak at that time.
