I lived something very similar when I moved into the US and had to learn the language and learned its costumes and ways. He had to learn different languages to communicate with people. I recently have met someone where their family speaks mainly Spanish and I have been trying to learn so I can communicate with their mom better. As a kid who lived in Mexico I never really lived an act of violence but I heard from it on the news pretty often. I believe this relates me to Trevor because although we didn't live it, it still made an impact in our lives.
