They built Canals and roads to improve communication. The most important resource is silk. The Gupta Empire was the exact opposite of the Han in the fact that they traded heavily with other countries. Agricultural is very important as is textile industry. Some of the textile industries were cotton, wool, silk, and linen.

Other Empires witnessed their vulnerability and attacked the Empires. The Han dynasty fell because they lost all of their money and had to raise taxes which made citizens mad. The citizens began to revolt and rebel groups were created and that led to the downfall of the empire. The Gupta became lazy and were invaded by the Huns so the Huns took over India and divided it up into different sections. Then the Gupta went to war with them.
