The Han dynasty fell because they lost all of their money and had to raise taxes which made citizens mad. The citizens began to revolt and rebel groups were created and that led to the downfall of the empire. The Gupta became lazy and were invaded by the Huns so the Huns took over India and divided it up into different sections. Then the Gupta went to war with them. They lost the war and their economy was devastated.
