But as we know today, it is not completely fulfilled because it can be seen in women from the past to the present, women have struggled a lot to make a difference, but few changes have been noticed.

The first is that its meaning has varied over the years, during the second wave of feminism, the women’s right to vote was believed as something impossible; not to mention the first wave where they did not even imagine being able to have independence from men.
 
The second reason is that achieving complete equality is impossible, because there will always be different thoughts, and just as a woman might think that it is okay for her to do all the housework, there will be others that don't think the same.
 
The conclusion is that gender equality is different for each person and it also changes over the years. Even so, we must try to ensure that each person has the same right as everyone else and that each person should adapt to what best suits them or to what seems to them to be the closest to “gender equality”.

Men and women are physiologically different, complicating an equality.
However, equity, and avoiding seeing everything from the gender side, is equitable, giving the same opportunities and helping those in greatest need.
