However, If I had to choose, I would probably vote for Hillary. 

While Hillary has made some major mistakes, so have many of our previous presidents. While Trump may or may not be as bad as it seems he would be, He's just not ready to be President. 

The President has to know what to tell the public and what to keep the public in the dark about. Trump doesn't seem to have this capability. This could get us in a lot of trouble. I think this will help the teacher get a good grasp of what the students 1. Think Civics is and 2. What people know/need to still learn. 

Election 2016 thoughts: This is a good way to see where people stand and what we need to watch when discussing, as some students hold strong opinions that could contradict each other and cause arguments. They can do what males can do too. It shouldn't be based on which gender you are. I think this can be highly hurtful to people that have military families. We are supposed to be pledging allegiance to the flag every morning. I think that if you want to go home and burn the flag in your own house, that's your decision. I liked that Mr. Smith tried to fight for such a good cause, the boys camp, considering most politicians want to be greedy and fight for something either irrelevant or something to only boost themselves up. Mr. Smith stood for over 24 hours to stall until the word had reached his hometown. He was fighting for a team of boys to have their own camp. Without this camp, parents probably wouldn't have been able to send their kids to a camp over the summer. This would help them be able to do that. I didn't get this information online but when he came to speak to the school, Rodney Davis told us a story of how when he decided he wanted to go into politics, no one believed he could do it. He even lost a few races. However, eventually he made it and became extremely successful in Congress. Many people like him. This is like Mr. Smith because everyone laughed at him when he became an honorable senator. They said he had no chance and could not do it.
