The author also adds great new characters which are very interesting. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times. As the fourth book in the series, Cole the main character, he continues his adventure with his friends in another world called the Outskirts. I love this book because it is extremely action packed and full of excitement. This is the first book in the series. When I got it I started out slow reading but then it started to get incredibly good so I kept reading more. The book is about two people named Day and June. Day was raised in a really poor family and June, she was raised in a rich family. Everybody that is over ten years old has to take a test called the Trial and if you pass you work for the Republic and if you fail you get sent to a labor camp. Day failed his Trial with one of the lowest scores ever. June passed her Trial with a perfect score 1500/1500, the only person to get perfect score. Day has two brother and his older brother passed his Trial but stayed with his family and his other brother hasn't taken his yet.
