         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Sons of Liberty was a resistance movement which consisted of traders, lawyers, and artisans. It was established mainly to protest and repeal the Stamp Act. The Sons of Liberty organized large moms of colonists and then wreaked havoc on its targets. The Sons of Liberty targeted stamp distributors and burnt down their offices and attacked their homes. Once a mob led by the Sons of Liberty even burnt down the house of the Lieutenant Governor Thomas Hutchinson</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Committees of Correspondence were provisional colonial governments that connected and rallied the 13 colonies. These committees played a great role in uniting the colonies and then later on going to war against the British. The first committee was formed in Boston in November of 1772. The Boston committee was held responsible for the Boston Tea Party and they worked along side the Sons of Liberty.</div>]]></description>
