I thought I'd share something for next year, as well as a deep dream I experienced and received a message through, this morning (Sunday, January 5, 2020)...

On Christmas Eve, when my children were young and we lived together, we would go outside at twilight, and watch and wait for the first Star to appear--that was when Christmas would begin for us!  

I still enjoy doing that by myself, and though this year it was cloudy here, it felt deeply satisfying to know the stars were still shining.  And O such Joy my Heart Danced when seeing one Star at dawn!

I had a profound dream when I fell back to sleep this morning...I dreamt of my dear son Chris, who crossed the threshold some years ago.  Though he communicates with me frequently, encouraging me to "Keep moving forward, Mom", I very rarely dream of him.
Upon awakening from being with him, I was experiencing deep tenderheartedness, and as I fell back to sleep again, I asked what message the Spiritual Realms wanted to give me /us.
The answer (of course!) was Love.  The word Love appeared in letters/writing and HeartFeeling, in front/in depths of a midnight blue gently swirling spiral vortex...

I'm deeply thankful for this dream and feel and Know that the message is to be shared with All...

He took the love he had gathered from the children’s stories, up to Heaven, to give to Mary...⠀

Mary could use this Love to spin into threads of Light, as she was weaving a blanket for her baby Jesus, who would be born at Christmas... 💫 ⠀

In return for all the love gathered, Nicholas would leave a small gift for the children...

The gift would remind them that their love and good deeds would help baby Jesus come into the world on Christmas Day...

Two concepts of Time:⠀⠀
Chronos - chronological time - linear, sequential, cyclical, the eventual devourer of all things⠀⠀
Kairos - “time out of time” - non linear, contextual, dependent, “the right time”, the eventual realisation of the eternal nature of all things ✨⠀
⠀⠀
So let us step out of our normal chronos-thinking and into our eternal, timeless, kairos-imagining...⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Step into the eternal present...⠀

The festival of Christmas need not be a quaint remembrance of an event that happened 2019 years ago, something we only give dim remembrance to as we travel with Chronos, further and further away from it...⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Instead it can be something real, something very real, existing forever in Kairos-time.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Each year when we give our thoughts to this event, we feed something in us, something ‘out of time’, something eternal... 💗⠀
We let the symbols of Christmas sink into our consciousness, we pass the images into our souls and experience nourishment from them...⠀⠀
⠀⠀
We play host to the travelling bards who appear and journey by each year with their exciting tale of the birth of a child in a stable in Bethlehem... 🐴⠀
⠀⠀
We set the stage, rig the lights, and cosy ourselves in the front row to experience this exquisite story yet again... ⠀
...
The work we do ‘weaving our blanket’, is never lost, we carry these threads of Light through each incarnation... our weaving is eternal and accompanies us forever in the realm of Kairos... the more we work on it the more aware of it we become... we simply pick up the threads each lifetime and continue.⠀
⠀⠀
Mary, sitting radiantly with her swell belly, weaves this blanket in order to receive her child... this selfless contemplative work, this task of hers continues, despite the event happening in Chronos time, 2019 years ago... she keeps on weaving.⠀
⠀⠀
Are we creating the threads of Light that will one day form the blanket into which something new will be born?⠀⠀
⠀⠀
We can step into Kairos anytime we choose: “War is over, if you want it” ... “They can go to Jerusalem anytime they wish” 

‘The right time’ concept of Kairos tells us ‘all is as it should be’ it tells us Love is unconditional and available in the present moment wherever, whenever. This is now possible thanks to Christ.

The imagery of Christmas is breathtakingly beautiful. The image of a Madonna, a mother and her child! ⠀
⠀⠀
Such Joy, such Love, such Hope! When you let the imagery unwind in your soul, such beautiful nourishment is attained. This image is universally understood, despite time or place, culture or religion, youth or wisdom. This image takes us somewhere, brings us to a common point... the birth of a baby! Simplistic yet monumental, everyday yet mysterious.⠀⠀

The Dalai Lama said, “all compassion begins with the nursing mother.”⠀⠀

My Christmas prayer: may we love freely like a child, loving ourselves and all around us, may we enter more frequently into Kairos time, experiencing the profundity of the eternal present and all the Joy and Sweetness of existence we can find there. In the name of all children, Amen🌈
