Learning in what ways paper can exaggerate its ability to be caught up in the movement of air. promoting me in which i rethink the fundamental principles in which we educate, rather than to use the paper for us to learn, we are able to look at paper and it's ways in which it creates agency in which we can derive from it.

Folding, scrunching, tearing are all ways in which children can interact with paper. Reflecting on the 100 languages, paper allows children to communicate through alternative avenues, by writing on, drawing on or manipulating with. As it allows children to find creativity and ignite their imagination  to be limitless in the art that they create. Within the TED talk ' Does schools kill creativity?' explores the idea that 'Literacy and Numeracy should be treated equally', as as we need to be aware of 'unpredictability of education'. ' We are educating children for a world, we have no idea about or what the world looks'. As the world changes we are unable to forecast into the future, continuing with the current education system. 

Within the article in the New York Times 'Making Playgrounds A Little More Dangerous' , they came ' to the counterintuitive conclusion thet engaging in risk is actually very important in preventing injuries'. I agree in the idea that play is 'too structured' and inhibits creativity, this interaction with junk is positive and expands the children mind in a multitude of ways, within the experiment of ' beautiful stuff' this explores this greatly and is a fantastic resources to integrate into our teaching practices.

Her views on materials are apparent to ' Listening with the materials, rather than the listening to any words or explanation of the clay art.  ' I think that you can do it through objects'. I love this concept, as it ties in again to the 100  languages for children and the potential that materials allow children to investigate and communicate within, rather than within the verbal manner in which we demand of them. Within 'Early Encounters with Materials explores how, ' the majority of texts emphasis what to do with materials, yet little say how one may think with them'. Exploring light, was again, unlike other material inquiries, as it isn't tangible yet evokes a sense of wonder and limitless possibilities.
