This revolution was a failure for the government because they wanted to establish a set constitution. They wanted a president, a single legislative body, and universal male suffrage. But the citizens kept revolting against the government because they didn’t like what they were planning. They were all scared of a republican monarch because of the previous revolution. So the citizens ended up over throwing the king and electing a president.
