The  film was directed by Gabriele Muccino. The film was directed by Gabriel Muccino(2006). It stars Will Smith as Chris Gardner and Jaden Smith as Chris Jr.  Will Smith was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor. It is a biographical drama film.

The film is set in San Francisco in the 1980s. A subway station was built specifically for the film. After the film was eliminated.

It is about a father who invests the savings of his life in "Bone Density Scanner" wich turns out to be a total failure. His wife leaves him, he loses his house, his bank account and credit cars. Forced to live out in the streets with his son. Gardner is now desperate to find a steady job. He takes on a job as a stockbroker, but before he can receive pay , he needs to go through 6 months of training.

I strongly recommend it. The best thing about the film is to learn from the eagerness to overcome and the perseverance of the protagonist. My favourite scene is when Chris tell his son: "Don't ever let somebody tell you can't do some, not even me. You got a dream, you gotta protect it.
