Thriller- A disruption of an equilibrium, the story shows a chain of bad events building tension suspense and climax , quick cuts, tension music, black and white shots, montage of shots, low key lighting.

I feel that my media product for my magazine has used a lot of the features from other media products. i feel as though i have used the same conventions from real media product such as a barcode and bold masthead. Along side a clear layout of text. i feel i have also used a bold picture with the main actor in the centre and so it shown through this product here. i also feel as though i have used the convention of other media products because the weapon that is used in the film is centre around the main image. I feel i have developed ideas because my magazine has a pug which makes the text stand out in bold where as other magazines may not have a pug as it is not a normal convention to have on a magazine. I conclude that i wanted my magazine to follow the conventions of roland Barthes theory of enigma codes. this would allow for there to be a mystery for the film and not giving to much away so they would want to go and see the film which is why i wanted the conventions to mostly follow it in the magazine so they would open it and read about it.
