James Madison represented Virginia. Charles Pinckeny represented South Carolina. John Langdon represented New Hampshire. 
Alexander Hamilton was a federalist, he was at the convention to propose his own type of government, he was also part of the committee of rules, and the committee of style. James Madison was a supporter of the Virginia Plan, a plan the was trying to create a stronger central government. He had many experience in politics in the past before he came to the convention. Also at the convention he drafted twelve of the documents used for the Bill of Rights. Charles Pinckey stayed in the convention long enough to sign the constitution. He is best known for his position in the proslavery act, and he warmly supported Madison's attempt to create a stronger government.
