1) What are 3 main take-aways from the video?
One take away is having different perspectives of the world. As many of the astronauts stated, Earth is very different when you're looking at it from the overview. Everything is zoomed out and you can see lights of the cities, different weather storms...Another takeaway is how beautiful yet fragile Earth can be. Just think how thin the atmosphere looks from space. The third takeaway is how we have to work as a team to bounce into the future together.

2) What is the Overview Effect?
The Overview effect is the view the astronaut gets when she/he looks down at Earth. Earth is so different when you're on Earth but more when you're seeing Earth as a whole. You see many different views that you don't see when you're inside.
3) How is Earth like a Spaceship?
Earth is like a spaceship because the spaceship crew works together and The life beings on Earth works together too. Everyone on board has a role and that is the same with Earth. Every individual has meaning.
4) What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
- Water
-food/energy
-shelter
- friends/company
- The sun and heat
- knowledge of basics
- technology
- elders to raise you when you're a baby
- medicine( also from herbs)
-clothes- protection
-Trees
-air
-Atmosphere
-pressure
-Rules

8/23/2018

5) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it?

Yes and no, When humans are extinct, Earth will grow back it's nutrients and maybe things it had before humans came. No while the humans are living because we are eating up our resources more and more. Our planet is even over heating because the pollution clouds the sky and capture a lot of heat and the polar caps are melting.

1) What are 3 main take-aways from the video?
One is you can only see half the world/earth because of the moons shodow.
Two is earth is like a thin sheet of paper when you look at it but it still keeps us all alive.
Three would be the first ship in space was called Apollo
2) What is the Overview Effect?
The Overview Effect is what happens to an astronuat when they look at space from above.
3) How is Earth like a Spaceship?
From a spaceship earth is like a rounded dome (this is coming from my opinion) that has a blue cover over it ( the atmosphere) and it stuns many astourants to see it because it astonishes you that your are looking at the thing that you live in, it also shocks you that you are not in the planet that you call home.

1) What are 3 main take-aways from the video?
The Overview effect changes you perception of Earth.
We are all on Earth, and therefore we are a whole. So we need to work together like a whole.
Earth is very fragile, with only a thin layer protecting it.
2) What is the Overview Effect?
It's when you look at Earth from space and see it as a whole and sort of meditating.
3) How is Earth like a Spaceship?
We are all bond together on this one blue ball in the middle of nowhere, and we need to work together to preserve the ball, just like a crew works together on a space ship.
4) What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
- Water
- Oxygen
- Food
- Gas and energy
- Natural resources
- Heat, fire
- Electricity
- Shelter
- Clothes
- Sunlight
- Plants
- Energy source
- Friends and family
- Education
- Pressure
- Something to do
- Internet/WiFi
- Law and order
- Waste management
5) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive?
No. Eventually, all the resources would run out. All the plants would either be used or be dead. Without plants, animals are going to starve and have no oxygen. If that doesn't happen, eventually the sun burns out, and Earth dies or blows up or something. 8/23/18

1) What are 3 main takeaways from the video?
One takeaway that I found was that when you look at the earth, you can see the amazing change overtime. Another takeaway is that you sometimes have to think of the earth in a different way than if you are littering because if you don't treat the earth well, then the earth would no longer exist and you would die. The last takeaway that I got from this video is even though you don't look at it this way all the time, but earth is a very important feature to have in your life because it provides you living space, family, and other things.

2) What is the overview effect?
The overview effect is something where you look at the big picture and not looking at the smaller part of the picture. It is really amazing when you see the entire universe around the globe.

3) How is earth like a spaceship?
Earth is like a spaceship because it protects you from the outside even though it is really cool. The globe keeps you from floating up into space. They both protect you in the same ways.

4) What are the basic requirements for human life on earth?

* Shelter
* Food
* Water
* Family
* gas
* Air
* Trees
* The sun
* Clothes
* Friends
* Education
* Energy source
* Natural things
* Something to keep you occupied
* Producers
* Waste managment
* Wifi
* rules
* government
* Stuff

5) Will earth always provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? if no, what will prevent it?
8-23-18
I think it will because as long as we have many people with many different jobs and participation to keep this earth clean from other people, i think we will be ok. For example, if we have producers, landscapers, people who handle money, and other job, out earth will stay balanced and equal and would not have many big problems.

1. What are 3 main Takeaways from the video? Three main takeaways are that Earth is more beautiful than it seems. Earth is fragile. If we don't take care of it, we will die. Earth is the ship that keeps us safe.

2. What is the Overview Effect?The overview effect is finally seeing something from above and realizing that it is more than it seems. The overview effect changes how you see something. The astronauts saw the Earth from a different perspective and it changed them.

3: How is Earth like a spaceship?
Earth is like a spaceship because it protects us from space like a spaceship does. It allows us to see the world safely, but if we do not sustain it, it will not be able to sustain us anymore.

4. What are the Basic Requirements for human life on earth?

-Food
-Water
-Something to keep you active
-Shelter
- Radiation
- Clothes
- Light
- Oxygen
- Friends
-Family
-Education
-Protection
-Energy Source
-Entertainment
-Wifi
-Waste Management
8/32/18
5. Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive?
If keep this pollution and deforestation up, the earth will not be able to provide what we need to survive eventually. The thing that is preventing it is us humans. We are preventing it from providing because our population is getting larger and larger. Us humans are cutting down trees, using too much water and oil, and killing too many animals.

1) What are 3 main take-always from the video?
1. Your view and feelings of the earth changes when you see it. It makes you appreciate this planet and makes you want to care more about it.
2. We need to take care of the earth. The earth may look big and sustainable. Though it is also fragile. The bad things that we do to it will not only affect the earth in the future but us. It will also affect us badly.
3. We all need to work in unity and not seperate, from each other to make the earth cleaner and better. Look what we did when 15 countries contributed to a space center. If we can work together, the earth will become a better place in no time.
2) What is the Overview Effect?
It is when you see something you here about a lot for the first time, it opens up something inside of you. It makes you realize not to take things for granted, and to look at things in a different way. It also changes how you feel about different things.
3) How is Earth like a Spaceship?
The earth is like a space ship because it is floating in space and rotating around the sun. In its own way it is a space ship. Spaceships go and move in space just like earth. We all breath on spaceships and earth and observe things around us. In reality a spaceship is like an extension of earth. On earth also we collaborate together and work to achieve new things. Same as any spaceship.
4) What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
There are big categories of things that we need to survive. The first big too categories are food and water. Two of the most important things that we need. We also need shelter to live, and for protection from environment and dangerous animals. We need trees/oxygen filters. Wee need light/energy source. We also need clothes to protect us and to give us warmth. Then we need air/oxygen. Also pressure. We also need waste management. Rules/system to live by.
8/23/201
5) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it.
I think no. The only reason why I say that is because of humans. Without humans the Earth could probably provide "forever". Though with humans we are using up resources to quickly. We want more and more to consume and build make and get things that we do not need. Though without us Earth could probably provide "forever".

Another take-away is that balance is needed in order for us to survive on Earth.
2) What is the Overview Effect?
The Overview Effect is when astronauts look above Earth and see it's beauty.
3) How is Earth like a Spaceship? Earth is like a spaceship because they both are floating in space. Another similarity is that Earth and a Spaceship both are able to keep living things alive.
4) What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
- Water
- Food
- Shelter
- Clothes(to keep yourself warm)
- Oxygen
- Pressure
8/23/18
5) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it? Everyone will one day understand the burden it carries.
4) Humans need basic thing such as water and oxygen, but there other things are a little harder to come by.
