The main point of this chapter is all about learning about your students as well as how to read them and figuring out what they respond to best. Role playing is very important when it comes to a class getting along as best as possible. It is your job as the teacher to read the class and see what activity will be best to help fix the class dynamic.

The one experience that I liked the most was excluding exclusivity. That is because I never had too many friends in school. I had my one or two best friends and that was it. I also had to deal with bullying as well as being left out of different games students would play. I know many children struggle with this and after reading this section I was happy to know that using drama in the classroom has been able to improve these situations. I had never thought of doing anything like that to help students work out their problems. Using drama to deal with different situations gives students a safe space to say what they feel is right without getting judged by others. I know that today some schools do not offer a drama class. I think that making sure that children have the opportunity to explore drama is something that is fantastic and who better to give them this opportunity than a drama teacher.
