Penguins are considered somehow hard to classify since they are warm-blooded, lay eggs and have feathers, but they cannot fly and can spend at most 20 minutes underwater to catch food. This makes it hard to tell if they are reptiles or birds. However they are classifies as aves in class (which includes all birds) order of Sphenisciformes and family of Spheniscidae.
Source:
https://seaworld.org/animals/all-about/penguins/scientific-classification/
