Storm was brindle, means he was either brown or gray with streaks of dark colors. In the book, they stated that he was built like a truck, meaning that he was a powerful sled dog who is non-stop strong. Finally, he had ears that were kind of rounded like a bear cub, which was unusual because most dogs have pointy-ish ears. However, the other dogs do not seem to be mad at all!! They are much rather surprised than mad, if you'd go and sneak on a dog they'd hurt you or bark at you, but Storm startling the dogs is different and I, honestly, am not sure why. After the owner finished working on the harness, and then he stood up kind of losing his balance, he leaned over to his right just to recover. Afterwards, the owner accidentally pulled a hook through the snow and found his hat. However, the owner needed a new stove because their old one started to burn through. The owner brought the stove to the sled and all of the dogs were not moving but Storm opened his eyes and looked at the stove. When the dogs had to pull the sled and the stove was one, all started pulling, but Storm kept growling at the stove, then stopped an pulled. And when they stopped to take a break at the top of the hills,  all the dogs would take breaths, but storm would keep staring at the stove growling and snorting at it. Storm kept the foot-long stick in his mouth all day, when it's time to eat or rest, he'd put the stick away, eat or rest, then pick the stick up and continue. Storm kept the stick like it was a special toy, he'd even sleep with the stick near him and then pick it up when he wakes up. Anyways, Storm has taught Gary the things he'd need to know through life and death, Storm is smart and has created ways to tell Gary something isn't right, or everything is alright. Gary's and Storm's life story is memorable and really awesome, I am pretty sure there's more to the story and I'd like to read it in the future.
