I think that system thinking could be a kind of thinking, when people organize their thoughts and new information into some charts/lists/mind maps to make logical connections between them. They systematize it and consequently have a better understanding and a structure in their minds. It is helpfull, because ithere is a chance to remember more and to see the whole picture. There is no distracting chaos.

I think that systems thinking is a type of thinking when a person can identify and learn various cause-and-effect relationships and regularities of things, because system thinking is based on the perception of things, phenomena, and so on in their totality with each other. Systems thinking helps people make the right conclusions and the right decisions in different situations, because logical and systems thinking is most effective: it takes into account all things and tries to find regularities in them.

Masha and Dasha made our brains work because they asked us the questions during all class, so this way we could refresh our knowledges we got when we were preparing for the class. Also, I like their philosophycal questions about "Soul". It let us think about the message of the film from different perspectives.

I want to say that Dasha and Masha did their job as well as possible. They not only asked us about the knowledge of terms, but also gave us the opportunity to reflect on various kinds of questions. Many of the exercises prepared by the girls helped us to remember what we went through in the first semester. And, of course, the most interesting thing was working in teams, where we were able to share theses based on the cartoon "Soul".This showed us the thinking of each of us.

I learned new information about biases. It was very interesting to discuss the cartoon "The soul", although it is a cartoon, it has a very deep meaning. In addition to the discussion, the girls prepared a good interactive voting experience. I express my gratitude to them for their work.

Our free-writing exercises made my writing much better and I started to think more free and wide. So, I really think that you should do more of free-writing exercises with next year students.

I think that the course was very useful, I like the idea of book review, it let us to get acquainted with the book in short time and to take some important ideas of it. Also I like active dicussion lessons, for example, debates. It was really interesting to listen to peer's arguments, opinions and thoughts on different topics. Also, it was quite difficult but fascinating to make arguments on opinion that I don't support, it let me to look at the topic from different perspectives and even change my point of view in any ideas

In my opinion this course was very helpful and entertaining. It contains many different ways to force people to think more creative, out of the way. I enjoyed doing book review, I really enjoyed reading Chatfield and I can frankly say that this course is one of my favourite between all courses this year. It helped me to think wider, to find unobvious meanings in texts and ways to formulate thoughts. I am also glad that I had constant practice in speaking and writing in English.

First of all, I want to say a big thank you for this course.

To improve the course, I would add more creative tasks in groups. This would be useful both for developing teamwork skills and for training students’ imagination. Probably, you can add tasks for logic and critical thinking, maybe some tasks or cases. However, this course is really useful and unusual in some way. I really enjoyed going to the critical thinking classes.

I would like to recommend to introduce some more creative or individual tasks, for example, make a quiz about all that we have learned in particular class. Also , it would be a good idea to give some additional task in journals. Generally, I enjoyed the course and satisfied with it. Especially I liked with the opportunity to speak, share opinion and show your outlook. It exactly enhanced our community spirit and made all of us closer.

It was great! Everything we've been through will help us in life. There were very interesting tasks where we had to learn the fallacies and find it in different examples. The course as a whole teaches us reasonableness and rationality. Moreover, the course helps us to think deeper. I think more creative tasks will help us to do it even better.

It honestly was my favourite course of the 1st year so I have mostly positive criticism. My favourite thing is that throughout the course we were free to be ourselves and used a lot of creative thinking. All the exercises like the debates, free writing and moderation must continue to be a part of the course. The only problem I found was a great flow of information in the beginning of the course so I wished it had been more structured. However, it could have been my personal distraction.
Valerie

This course was quite helpful and useful for me in everyday life. As for me, free writing exercises were very beneficial, because they have helped me to establish my thoughts. This course assisted me with thinking outside of the box. It was challenging, but of course valuable, to come up with arguments and to evaluate peer’s works. Thank you for this course, it’s a “must” for everyone.

I cannot be more happy of my freshman year as we had such a useful subject. I liked the way my thinking and consequently my personality has changed. This course is a great inspiration for our further way of becoming true critical thinkers. As for the improvement, I would add more practice so we can apply ideas we studied in real-life cases.
