Mona lisa
The portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo, better known as La Gioconda or Monna Lisa, is a pictorial work of the Florentine Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci. It was acquired by King Francis I of France at the beginning of the 16th century and has been property of the French State since then.
It is an oil painting on poplar panel measuring 77 × 53 cm, painted between 1503 and 1519, and retouched several times by the author. It is considered the most successful example of sfumato, a very characteristic technique of Leonardo, although currently its original coloring is less noticeable due to the darkening of the varnishes.

Planned in 1921, it was developed by engineer Heitor da Silva Costa over five years, from 1926 to 1931. The monument is located in Tijuca National Park, 710 meters above sea level, offering a beautiful view of the city. With 220 steps, it was chosen as one of the Seven Wonders of the World in a 2007 New 7 Wonders Foundation vote. Access to the monument is possible by train, bus, or car. A train path takes visitors past the Atlántica Mata for eight minutes, with panoramic ascents and mechanical elevators. The spectacular landscape makes the journey an unforgettable experience for visitors to the city.

Lago de los cisnes: Swan Lake, written by the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, is a ballet written by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1877. It is the first of the three ballets written by Ilyich Tchaikovsky and is the first ballet with a symphonic approach of Germanic orchestral roots and inspiration. French melodica. The ballet brings together ideals of the purest romanticism, known for its libretto in the tradition of the Brothers Grimm. Swan Lake tells of an impossible love between Prince Siegfried and Odette, a young queen turned into a swan along with her entire court by the spell of the evil sorcerer Rothbar. The young woman can only recover her human form at night and be freed from the curse by the one who promises eternal love.

 ROCKY 4 (1985)

Rocky IV (1985) is one of the most iconic entries in the Rocky series, set against the backdrop of the Cold War. The film introduces Ivan Drago, a nearly indestructible Soviet boxer, who’s been trained with cutting-edge technology to be the ultimate fighting machine. In contrast, Rocky Balboa, the reigning heavyweight champion, trains the old-fashioned way, relying on hard work and heart.

The story kicks off when Apollo Creed, Rocky’s close friend, agrees to fight Drago in an exhibition match. Despite Rocky’s warnings, Apollo insists. The fight ends tragically when Drago kills Apollo in the ring, leaving Rocky devastated and determined to avenge his friend’s death.

Fueled by grief and a sense of justice, Rocky challenges Drago to a fight in the Soviet Union, setting the stage for a battle that symbolizes the political tensions between East and West. While Drago is trained using state-of-the-art equipment and scientific methods, Rocky heads to Siberia to train in isolation, focusing on raw, physical endurance—lifting logs, running through snow, and building strength without fancy technology.

As the fight in Moscow begins, Rocky faces off against Drago in a brutal, cold arena. The Soviet crowd initially jeers, but Rocky’s persistence slowly begins to turn the tide. Although overwhelmed by Drago’s power, Rocky refuses to give up, absorbing punishment and fighting back with heart and resilience. In the final round, Rocky knocks Drago out, claiming victory in a fight that is not just personal but political—symbolizing the triumph of spirit over brute force.

In the end, Rocky delivers a powerful speech about unity, peace, and mutual respect, winning over the Soviet audience who, once hostile, now cheer for him. The film ends with the message that despite differences, understanding and respect can bring people together.

Rocky IV is remembered for its intense training montages, thrilling fight sequences, and its themes of resilience, friendship, and overcoming adversity. It’s a film that blends personal drama with global political tension, making it one of the most memorable moments in the Rocky franchise.

A fun and interesting fact about Rocky IV is that the iconic training montage, set to the song "Hearts on Fire" by John Cafferty, was filmed in less than a week. The montage, which shows Rocky training in the harsh Siberian wilderness, became one of the most memorable scenes of the entire Rocky franchise.

Leonardo da Vinci painting

The painting was composed by -Leonardo da Vinci
The painting is composed of handmade oil paints and pigments ground with various media
The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci (Cenacolo Vinciano) is one of the most famous paintings in the world, the work was painted between 1494 and 1498 under the government of Ludovico the Moor and represents the last supper between Jesus and his disciples.
Curiosities 1. Leonardo filled all his notebooks with a very particular writing, which consists of a “mirror image” to explain it that way. It is believed that this technique was faster for him, since being left-handed he could write from right to left. In addition, he created a variety of symbols that he inserted into his notes, with the intention of confusing anyone who wanted to steal his notes or copy his inventions.

Guernica

The painting was composed by Pablo Picasso
The painting is composed of wood, bronze, iron, cement, steel, and also domestic objects.
Pablo Picasso stands out as the author of some 13,500 paintings and designs, 34,000 illustrations for books and 300 sculptures or ceramics, and he also has the largest number of museums with his name.
Curiosities1.On August 21, 1911, Leonardo's Mona Lisa disappeared from the Louvre as if by magic. Picasso and his friend, Guillaume Apollinaire, were arrested on suspicion of the theft. It was all because a few years earlier the man from Malaga, who in those days was fascinated with ancient and primitive art, had bought some Iberian statuettes from the Belgian Honoré Joseph Géry. He had stolen them from the museum and Picasso bought them for 50 francs, with the complicity of Apollinaire.
