SECOND: research your issue thoroughly. Follow any references to it in the media. 

 

THIRD: use this Padlet to organise your virtual gallery exhibit. Your virtual exhibit introduces visitors to current issues on sexualities in Brazil.

 

FOURTH: the whole idea of the project is to present a virtual tour to your audience on issues of cultural expressions of your pressing topic. It is required that you connect your presentation to some concepts or ideas discussed in class. You can also raise some questions or challenges that your gallery raises to the field.

 

POST 2: provide a short background and contextualization of the topic in Brazil. 

 

POST 3: Target population(s), you can briefly describe the situation of a particular group(s) that is important for your chosen topic (e.g. young women of colour; undocumented populations; sexual minorities; married women; older people; etc.).

 

POSTS 4, 5, 6, etc: Use these posts to illustrate the situation of your topic (e.g. news, media coverage, clips about a mass media campaign (successful or a failed one), covers of magazines, newspapers, documentaries, advertisement, movies and TV shows, short films or trailers, quotations, etc.).  Be creative and innovative!

 

POST Y: Concluding statement, briefly summarize the key aspects of your topic in your country. Provide concluding thoughts about your topic in your country. This could be in the form of policy recommendations, research needed, etc.

Optional: Post 11th: Bibliography
You can create an additional post to include all the bibliography you used to develop your gallery.
