How did they react to the lesson? anacanosa25 https://padlet.com/anacanosa25/loufyflijte2/wish/255469785  Today was the first day in kindergarten and it was a unique experience I must say. 

The students are wonderful, they are plenty of them which is hard to manage but it shows that when they are motivated they can be managed a lot easier. I would say that they reacted confused as some activities where new and I tried to speak as much English as possible, but after explaining and demonstrating they understood it well. They are very kinesthetic learners so every activity must be well thought and they should be in movement very often. At first, as I got my homemade flashcards out I can tell that they loved them, they reacted very well and where excited. 

The lesson was okay, they reacted well to it but there was one activity which I had to change because they kept on getting off the circle, so I changed it immediately and it worked out great!

I would say that including a puppet caught the students attention and that help me present the new vocabulary in a great and fun way. 
Also, it goes without saying that using known songs such as ¨Finger family¨, ¨Roll your boat¨ and ¨5 monkeys jumping on the bed¨ are very useful and students love them! We have the puppet ¨Miss. Foxy¨ which I used to present the new vocabulary with flashcards. Miss Foxy is always in the clouds so students helped her with the vocabulary and the flashcards which she always had them upside down! 
Then we have a box which has different pictures of the family members, they had to throw the dice and look in the classroom for the flashcard of the family member they threw. 
Later on we went with a song called ¨family finger song¨They loved it! I made them clap and stomp their feet.

I was nervous but happy at the same time. The students were tired as they just came from an act in the school so I had to improvise and change the class. The teacher asked if they can relax and play with dough so I got my animal flashcards from the day before and asked them to make those animals. They loved it and I was happy that they used the vocabulary given! I was scared that I had to improvise but it came out great!
