We learn that new pretty are transform to another person without the convictions that they use to have when they were uglies.

An example, is when Tally secretly go see Peris in New Pretty Town and in a way don’t see the Peris she use to know. 

In details, the operation is meant to change people in two different ways. At first there is all the physical changes where all our disproportion are getting erased and we are get surgical operation to make our face symmetrical.
