Weaknesses & Strengths in the 4 skills

WEAKNESSES:
- Speaking: I consider also that sometimes I lack of vocabulary and can't find the accurate words in certain moments.
- Listening: This is the one with which I struggle the most. It's difficult for me to understand someone who speaks fast, for example with native speakers.
- Writing: I use not to be very concrete when I write, sometimes I use too many words to express a simple idea
- Reading: My level of reading comprehension is not very high sometimes. In some cases I have to read the same line over and over to finally get the point.

STRENGTHS:
- Speaking: I have a really good pronunciation and most of the times my speech has a good fluency and sounds well elaborated.
- Listening: I don't use to have problems with the varieties of English, so I can understand most of the accents in English
- Writing: I work hard at coherence and cohesion when writing, so my texts are well structured
- Reading: Even though I have problems in reading comprehension, when I do it I do it fluently.

I will also read a book, which I'll finish at the end of the month. (I'll pick the book during this week)
Fridays (Speaking and listening): I'll be attending to a very fun event called Dame Tu Lengua. It consists of meeting with people from different countries. Every country has its own space to talk and drink a beer. There are many foreigners in this event so it's very appropriate to practice my speaking while I reinforce my Listening by hearing native speakers. I have a plus to practice these skills, and it is on tuesdays, since in one of the bands I belong, the singer is and english native speaker, and he always talks in English.

WEAKNESSES:

- Speaking: I still need to learn a lot of vocabulary to be able to express what I think. I don't have a good pronunciation.

- Listen: Sometimes I don't understand what they are talking to me.

- Writing: I write the words wrong and the ideas do not connect well.

WEAKNESSES:

Listening: It is difficult for me to identify some words because they have similar sounds; It's difficult to understand when a native speaker speaks.
Speaking: I get nervous and find it hard to express myself, I have trouble finding words and connectors.

Reading: I have a hard time understanding the context of the phrase because some of them sound literally.

Writing: Recognize grammatical tenses to form sentences.

Strengths and weaknesses:
- Speaking: I consider that I lack vocabulary, and I forget in the moment the grammar structures. Another big problem, I block me is when someone asking me. But, the people sometimes understand me very well, in present time.
- Listening: For me is very difficult understand across de call or conference, in spetial the native speakers. But I understand a large part of convesation.
- Writing: I have spelling mistakes, and use to use a lot google traslate to feel me more confidence. But, when someone dictates to me, I can write fast and almost without errors.
- Reading: I feel is a strength because I understand much, but I need to learn more vocabulary.

CALENDAR:
- I´m going to watch at least two episodes of a tv serie in English per week. (Smallville)

Weaknesses:
-Listening:for my part, I have problems with listening, because I get confused with the pronunciation of some words.

-Speaking: I have problems with the order of the sentences, with the pronunciation and I need a lot of vocabulary.

-Reading: I need more vocabulary, since for this reason I sometimes do not understand the texts.

-Writing: Organize my ideas better, because I have problems with grammatical structure, especially with irregular verbs.

Speaking: I need to improve speaking in the past tense
Listening: It is necessary to have a better understanding of a native speaking
Reading: Sometimes I read all the text and imagine that all situations are happening in the present
Writing: I fail with the grammatical and the orthography because lack of practice

STRENGTHS:
Speaking: I can explain myself and express my ideas to others.
Listening: I think that I can understand most people if speak clearly and slowly.
Reading: I understand all the things that I read, even if is a topic totally unknown
Writing: I know a lot of words and I think that can express my ideas.

CALENDAR:
I'm learning how to use chatgpt to improve my English, every day I'm assigned 20 minutes to work on my weaknesses topic.

Weaknesses:
Speaking: I find it very difficult to speak because I haven't practiced this skill as much. Many times, I try to translate literally what I'm going to say and can't find the right words.

I would like to improve my pronunciation to sound more natural and be better understood.

Listening: I sometimes struggle to understand native speakers, especially when they speak quickly or use colloquial expressions.

Skills:
In writing and reading, I understand most of the phrases I read. What I want to learn is the correct structure and more vocabulary to be able to express myself correctly.

Calendar:
I am going to practice vocabulary by watching TV series and listening to songs in English, enabling English subtitles

WEAKNESSES

- It is very difficult for me to understand clearly when only English is spoken and I do not have a context or explanation of what is said.

- I get easily blocked when someone speaks fluently
- Little vocabulary

- My greatest weakness is the personal dedication or time that I must use to practice a lot.

I would like to be able to express myself and make myself understand correctly and understand each grammatical tense

- Every day I will dedicate 1 hour to watch content of my interest, such as TV series or music to improve reading comprehension and pronunciation.

- I will spend at least half an hour a day practicing pronunciation with videos on the "Rachel's English" Youtube channel.

-I will try to see the most content on TV, on channels like "BBC News", "discovery" and "Animal planet", among others

- I am going to change the language of my cell phone and PC to English to have more interaction with the language

- I am going to persevere with English as a personal challenge; I would like to overcome this difficult obstacle for me
