It wasnt much of a distraction then since I was so young with no problems in life and no worries. But it helped my parents for them knowing I was having fun and knowing that I was safe. With my brother and all of my other friends on the team. I gave me alot of enjoyment also as a 5 year old.

It will distract me from things that ive witnessed or have been thru even though its not much and it last a while every year. I do anything i can to keep myself busy so i dont think of anything and lose the worries in my thoughts. I love it when people reward me for my achievements and help me succeed especially my family.

You could give them hope and make them feel safer and less stressed about bills or anything honestly etc also.
