Thanks to FSHA and the sisterhood here, I feel  like I am accepted and it makes me happy to see everyone acting as one big, very big, family. 
Another thing I learned about myself was the amount of stress and work that I could handle. The transition to high school was relatively easy in the beginning, but further down the road it got more and more challenging. This shows that life is the equivalent of a TV show like THE WALL in which a ball falls and gravity takes its course and we can do nothing to control it.

Although this mantra is not very long, it's importance and meaning is. I feel a very strong connection towards this quote because it is completely right. It is the same with people too, if you are nice to them, they are nice to you, so why would it be different with life? If you don't do good things in your life, if you do not follow the law, or help people in need, at some point the infamous "life" will come back to "bite" you. This saying is important to me because I believe that I must work on being a better person, and these few words inspire me to do just that.
In my life, there is only one event that strikes a significant feeling in me. A few months ago, a few days prior to my fifteenth birthday I was watching a documentary on a family that was broken apart because of their drunk of a father and their mother who was too scared of him to do anything. The children were being beaten whenever they didn't do something that their father asked of them. The fact that these kind of things happen while I am sheltered away in my home in Los Angeles is not okay with me. I want to be able to help, to be able to make a difference in their lives and everyone else's that is being treated like that. This is relatable to my mantra because if I were able to help them, maybe in someway they could help me, to be a better person, to be thankful for what I have, and to allow life to be as kind to you as you let it be.Throughout class this semester, we have addressed many problems and social injustices in today's society. This mantra, my mantra could be the solution to many of them.
