Key Findings :

• Elicit the vocabulary

• Try to encourage students to speak more.

• The teacher greets the students and has a short conversation with them.

• The teacher states the learning objectives.
  

2. Teaching Stage (20 minutes)

• The teacher reviews vocabulary related to Family / Myself / My Hometown using visual aids.

• Students listen to the pronunciation and match vocabulary words with their meanings.

3. Random Topic Activity (10 minutes)

• The teacher uses a box to draw random topics.

• Each student receives one of the topics: Family / Myself / My Hometown.

4. Vocabulary Use & Speech Preparation (20 minutes)

• Students think and prepare sentences to introduce themselves, their family, or their hometown using the vocabulary they’ve learned.

• The teacher gives additional vocabulary support and suggestions as needed.

5. Presentation (30 minutes)

• Students give short presentations (3–4 minutes each).

• The teacher provides individual feedback (no peer feedback).
  

6. Wrap-up / Closing (10 minutes)

• The teacher reviews new vocabulary learned during the lesson.

• Students receive a homework assignment: Write a short paragraph introducing yourself, your family, or your hometown (1 paragraph).

Questionnaire & Student Feedback

• After completing the speaking activity, 32 students were interviewed to reflect on their learning progress.

• Overall, students showed significant improvement in their confidence and speaking skills.

• Many students mentioned that they felt proud and motivated after the activity. They became more willing to speak in front of others and were able to use English more naturally than before.

• Several students shared that the activity helped them organize their ideas, pronounce words more clearly, and apply grammar patterns more effectively.

• Students also expressed that they now feel less afraid of making mistakes and more eager to practice speaking regularly.
