In this assignment I highlighted more Democrat ideas than Republican. However, I do believe in certain Republican ideas like individual rights and justice. I believe in individual rights and justice because I think that people should be responsible for themselves and shouldn’t rely on other people. There are more democratic ideas that I agree with one of them being their stance of abortion. Democrats believe in pro-choice meaning that the women should have a choice on whether or not they want to abort their child. I agree with them because other people in the office who you don’t know shouldn’t be able to tell women what they should do. Another idea the Democrats believes in that I agree with is their stance on gay rights. I agree with them I believe that people should be getting background checks; there shouldn’t be a reason why a person who is known for being violent can have access to a gun. It is unbelievable to me how easy it is in other states to buy a gun. I am not siding with the Republicans because it seems like the NRA is giving some of them money.
