I am Mirjam Hauck. My academic home is The Open University in the UK where I am currently Lead for AI in Learning, Teaching and Assessment. I have been engaged in Virtual Exchange (VE) for almost two decades and have recently focused on developing and framing the field of Critical Virtual Exchange, i.e. VE that is based on equity, diversity, inclusion and access principles and that challenges hegemonies in current VE and VE-base Internationalisation at Home. I look forward to working with you all!

I'm Lisa, from the University of Padua -a pretty and tiny town near Venice, Italy. I'm deeply passionate about sustainability, human rights, virtual exchanges, peer learning, intercultural dialogue, and fostering multilingual and multicultural online communities.

Over the past few years, I have coordinated and facilitated the eTandem E+VE project and the Arqus moVEs virtual exchange as part of the Arqus European Alliance. Currently, I implement BIP initiatives and develop interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary virtual exchange projects at the University of Padua.

up for this course as I am a massive fan of internationalisation, and 'doing' it virtually is very sustainable. I do not have any experience in the delivery of international collaborative teaching. However, I have availed of international education in the past. Firstly, I completed an Erasmus semester in Norway for my undergraduate degree and then an international master's programme in Sweden. I am looking forward to meeting and engaging with everyone!

I'm Breda Hickey. I am a lecturer in the Department of Tourism & Hospitality at MTU Cork. I teach on a wide range of programs from theory to more practical based and across a range of departments also from time to time. I have been a member of the AEHT - the European Association for Hotel & Tourism schools- for many years and that has given me an interest in learning more about learning exchange opportunities which is why I have joined this program. Looking forward to working with you and learning from you in the coming weeks!

I'm Catherine, from the Department of Physical Sciences in MTU based on the Bishopstown Campus. I've worked in lots of different departments in MTU, teaching physics and project management. I've also worked in different roles in MTU, in the Registrars Office, MTU Office and Strategic Development Office over the years. I've no experience of Erasmus and I'm looking forward to learning about Virtual Exchanges.
