As we began to be enveloped in the world of writing, thought–to be grasped inside the endless space of their own imagination–we began to enjoy this time. The scheduled classes turned into periods of creativity and the outlined research essays into quests for the fascinating facts from history.
This book contains collections of research essays informing about influential figures in the ages of slavery and poem explications completed joyfully by the 7th graders of Trinity Christian Academy. We traveled the extra mile to explain a better, more detailed, realistic understanding of slavery in the 1800's. And the explications? Well, they're as good as they get.
We students contributed with all of our unique talents in working groups such as editorial, graphic design,  event planning, and many more. We strived continually to present to our readers Beliefs in Focus: Through the Lens of a 7th Grader. 
There are so many groups and people to thank in the making of this book. All the proceeds will be going to Dallas Life, a charity that helps the homeless every day without hesitation but instead with kindness and love.
