I shivered at the thought of what was hiding in the closet and I was tangled with the idea of what was in it could it be a magical umbrella I asked myself? As a dwelled on the idea I started festering my thoughts strengthened I opened it and ...

My mother made me promise not to open the cupboard, of course, being the ignorant child I am, I didn't listen. Why should I, when something wonderful could be behind those doors?

my hand was only a few paces away. I paused, what if it's something boring, like an umbrella, or a piece of furniture? A shiver ran up my spine, what if it's something terrifying?

I ignored my spiralling thoughts and open the doors to the cupboard, it glistened. I reached my hand out, attempting to move the sheet laying over the glittering item. It was festering. Horrific, like a nightmare. I removed my hand from the sheet. My fingers untangled around the sheet.

The sun glistened on to the furniture removalists face as he took an old, festering cupboard out of his truck. He took it into the house and placed it in the kitchen. That was when he noticed that the cupboard had an old looking lock hanging off the handle with two keys tangled on a piece of string. The lock was about to fall off, so the removalist strengthened it so it wouldn't open. Next to the cupboard sat a wonderful umbrella that took his attention. When he signed up to his job he promised not to touch anything that wasn't in the truck but this umbrella looked very special.

A glistening light shone across the valley and into a little cottage in the middle of no where. This abandoned cottage was filled with nothing but furniture and an umbrella, everyone believed this, everyone but Gracie. Gracie promised that some one wonderful lived in the cottage, someone that was the type of person that made dreams come true. She believed that the lady that lived in there was out of a movie like Tangled or beauty and the beast. No one believed her, Gracie spent years festering over this little cottage that this so called lady lived in. She spent nights shivering in the cold out near the cottage spending time, digging for evidence to prove her story to be correct.

I had lived in this house for almost ten years before I saw it, The glistening light shone from the floor. There was a slight yellow glow shining from under the floor boards. I went to my kitchen and rung the local removalist to come take of the shinning floor board and move the heavy furniture sitting on top. The removalist arrived and took of the floor boards, what I saw underneath left me shivering. I promised the landlord i wouldn't temper with the house, but I had to know. What I had discovered tangled my mind, like a wonderful knot that wouldn't come undone. a Festering Umbrella that had been covereing in glowing maggots sat nd er teh floor board. I had to strengthen my stomach at the disgusting site.

I stared at the cupboard, whose door hung like slouched shoulders. I had moved several pieces of my grandfather's furniture that had guarded the door like a well-kept promise. My desire to access the cupboard had been festering since his unexpected passing. He had lived a beautiful and wonderful life and the thought of his smile strengthens me when I feel tangled in a state of grief. But there was something missing, a story untold. For the past 9 years, I believe the answer was buried in that cupboard. I opened the door, hesitant. I shivered. I couldn't believe what was before me. It was like a removalist had come and cleared it out. There was nothing but a yellow umbrella.
