This contains the DNA profiles of violent crime offenders, and allows workers to link crimes to one another. 
The DNA Casework biometric analysis at the lab provides forensic DNA examinations to the FBI. Using Mitochondrial and Nuclear DNA, evidence testing is able to be done for important cases. 
The Federal DNA Database is another working system of the lab. This aides investigators by profiling offenders who are in the system and attaching them to other crimes.
