  • There’s only one red light in the whole town of Westmoreland, which is fitting because it always has people running through there.
  • Westmoreland is the definition of ‘southern hospitality’ because of the abundance of general kindness in the air.
  • The people there are all very open and open-minded.
  • When passing by the local Sonic restaurant, you can see the high schoolers hanging out with their friends at any time of day.
  • Westmoreland is full of their own produce and farms, and habitually will be the main source for local grocers.
  • At a local store, I saw people get excited about the different types of masks they offer, which is a refreshing change from the anti-maskers.
  • At the schools, the kids are learning and bringing their all to their classes.
