And also I think have two reason.
 The first reason is that the baby don't  have mature logicality. So
they are difficult to choose the correct “answer”.
   Another reason is that I think it is their consciousness. In their mind，they think the object still exist. but the truth is not what they think.

At first, it didn't know where food came from, but when it in the sea, it saw its food hidden on the bottom of the sea, but when wave of sea left, the food hidden in the sand so it can’t see them, just like stage 1. If you don't uncover the cloth unknown, you will never know where is the toy hide and how.
 
  The stage of pineapple girl is stage 4, because at beginning she doesn’t know the rules of sell, but at end, she learned form other and she can transfer the rule and apply them. Her behavior tells that we should learn/ transfer/ apply the experience form others like the girl.
