Very inspiring movie, but at the same time, I felt like there's no hope. I understand and appreciate the endeavours to build a community through radio but what can possibly done? The climate change will not stop making more and more refugees and the camp of Dadaab will be overpopulated even more. What can possibly do for this as a person from the other side of the planet? I want to engage.

Being a Kenya and having been a youngster in 1991, the events in Somalia and in Rwanda, four years later, have never left my mind. Community Radio has a transformational ability. Root cause of instability in most corners of the world is bad stewardship by the political class. And so is Climate Crisis a political ill-will pandemic. Kudos to Serat and Radio Daadab. North-Eastern Kenya is basically Somali and thus anciently Somalia. Sadly, Africa's geographical expression are artificial as they are foreign made and continue serving its crafters' interest. No Africa should feel foreign within the continent.

It is an amazing work, in terms of the quality of the film, voice, transcript, and photography. I liked the video because it let me see the real situation of refugees' lives in the camp, not just through a lecture or written document.

I believe they are challenging themselves when they decide to farm the dusty land, make schools, restaurants, and markets.

Thank you so much for making us aware of the refugees’ lives. I’m so proud to have acquired this information from prestigious foundations like GCED and APCEIU, which gives me the power and passion to raise awareness among our students at the university about this issue and prepare them for the different situations in the labor market and how to be involved in achieving the SDGs as global citizens, not only in their country but all over the world.

A motivating film on a very important issue. It also brings together the issue of gender, immigrants and climate action. The global citizens need to use this film as the beginning of a conscious struggle to counter crisis. If we will, we can.
