It was intriguing. I was in a city known for its design and art. 

I had the good fortune to catch part of the London Design Festival, which was followed by a trip to the Tate Modern and a stroll along the Thames in the evening. It was extremely lovely to watch people behave and think in this way.

Our site research included trips to the shell grotto, margate caves, crab museum, and a few other locations that discussed and demonstrated the peculiarities of the town of Margate. We were most intrigued by the crab museum because it was very small but contained a lot of information about the incredible creatures crabs are, and also because we were the only group to visit the museum while we were there, which made it even more special. As a result, we continued to conceptualise our installation around crabs.

This was one of them—going to the natural history museum on November 5, 2022, and being astounded by how wonderfully and efficiently the museum's love of history was presented.

One of my favourite pleasures is travelling and meeting new people, and seeing this charming town during the winter was one of the most enchanting things I've ever done since arriving. The cosy cafes provide a vibe and a gorgeous blend of classic and modern décor, along with the the Nottingham Contemporary gallery that stand out and have a special place in my heart.

It was wonderful to experience at these two fantastic museums that are very different from one other but may still have an impact on a person's life in some way or another. Visiting various museums and galleries is one of the best methods to get to know the location and people of the country and the surrounding area.
