The location fit the brief- modern, high end, rich colours, large rooms. I enquired to an Air BnB which was affordable however in this scene we need to use fake blood. The property owner wasn't comfortable with this and my enquiry got rejected. I also explored the use of the Z-HOUSE by (Barratt developments) on campus however they did not want any footage of the house being released. I feel this week went well in terms of getting all the shots we needed at each location however there were some miscommunications. When filming at Kenny's house I was not informed that the shots were desired to be in the evening, this was not in the script either. This came to light when the call sheet was released the evening before. The location was originally booked for the hours of 9AM-6PM, the call sheet required crew to set up at 6PM so an evening shoot created an issue that had to be resolved. Due to sunset not being until 8:30PM in May, working with props we came up with using bin bags on the windows and doors which created the desired look preventing shooting running into the night which would have impacted on the location agreement and the crew. The office scene had been the hardest location to source due to some locations being too expensive and actor availability changing meaning the time I booked my original location for had been affected and we could no longer use it as we wouldn't have our actor. The producer had a close contact who allowed us to change the office scene location to a bar that Craig "owned". We were told we could have this location for two days however when we arrived on our second we were not allowed due to a miscommunication.
