My name is Delanie Sky. I am commencing my Honours journey this session on the Bathurst campus. My topic area will be around ‘Female Leadership in a Regional Context’. 

Brief bio: I have a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Welfare, Diploma in Community Services, and a Business Management Diploma specialising in Human Resources. Age 11, I commenced my first small business in babysitting and cleaning; at 19 I started my second successful business as a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist; age 24 I owned and managed two award winning video franchise stores. I then left being a business owner for a career change into welfare case management, training and program supervising. Following the birth of my third child, I have been working in the early childhood sector. Last year my youngest started kindy and I returned to my passion of working with youth and adolescents as a Program Coordinator and Counsellor for Raise Foundation, (2017 volunteer mentors needed - www.raise.org.au), and I was also a part of a successful federal political campaign team. I have a keen interest in politics and encouraging women, especially young women, to look at engaging in roles that shape the future of our country.

My name is Jess and Im thrilled to be starting my Honours next week in Bathurst.
I've lived in Bathurst my whole life and am living with my husband and two spoilt fur babies. 
After leaving school I completed two years of a Bachelor of Nursing, before I changed paths and finished my Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) in 2016. 
My biggest passion is helping others, and I have a strong interest in general HR and business management, ethics, science and healthcare. I hope to be able to include all of my interests in my Honours study and find a passion for a particular cohort.
I'm currently working full time in a state government department providing IT support. I previously worked in retail where I held a store manager position as well as another role as a 2IC.

Hello All,
My name is Michelle and I am excited to be able to commence Honours this year at the Bathurst campus. I look forward to working with you all.

I have a Bachelor of Business (Management/Organisational Communication and Public Relations), which I graduated with in the end of 2015. 

I have over 25 years of industry experience, both is public and private sector organisations. My interest has always been in people focussed areas including HR, management, and community relations. 

In my personal life I am blessed to have an eight year old daughter, Bella. I also have a partner and my father who provide a wonderful support allowing me to work and study.

My name is James and I'm starting back up at University after a hiatus of nearly 20 years.

I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce, and then wen straight in to the IT industry.

I've worked as a network administrator, support officer, IT journalist, consultant and am now a solutions architect specialising in Microsoft technologies. I have also written a book and produce online learning courses.

I live in Melbourne with my wife and two daughters (and dog) and will be taking this as a distance course.  All being well, I will continue my studies with a Doctorate in Information Technology.

I am English and have been in oz for 15 years. 
I studied classics originally and have been in risk and assurance for 20 years.

My name is Mitch. I am a Wiradjuri man living on country here in Albury Wodonga. I cannot express how excited and anxious I am to be commencing research in an area that I am extremely passionate about: Leadership, more specifically Indigenous Leadership.  

I come to this forum with over a decade of experience in the health and higher education sectors, in a variety of roles.  I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science, so it wouldn’t have been an obvious choice to undertake this course for me after a career primarily focussed on addressing disadvantage through health policy and practice had I not entered the tertiary environment as an employee.

I like many of you, will be relearning to balance commitments that the addition of study forces us to do. I work full time at CSU, currently I am the Acting Manager of our Indigenous Student Services. It is my family and furrkids that will help me maintain this balance!

I welcome the opportunity to share and learn with you all.
